Can it extract the line items into separate columns?

Yes. Every column in the line-item table becomes a column in the sheet — description, SKU, quantity, unit price, line total, tax rate, and anything else the invoice prints. Blank cells stay blank so nothing shifts left; a row with an empty Qty cell still lands its Price and Total in the right columns. Wide grids, such as apparel invoices with XS–6XL size columns, are preserved as-is.

Does it work on scanned or photographed invoices?

Yes — that is where it beats classic PDF converters. A scanned invoice is just an image with no selectable text, so text-layer tools return empty cells. The AI looks at the page like a person would, so a flatbed scan, a fax-quality copy, or a photo taken at a slight angle all convert the same way a digital PDF does.

Which invoice fields are extracted?

Everything printed on the page: invoice number, invoice date, due date, payment terms, PO number, vendor name and address, bill-to and ship-to blocks, notes, the full line-item table, and the subtotal, tax, shipping, and grand total. Amounts are stored as numbers (27.55, not "$27.55"), so SUM and pivot tables work immediately.

Can I import the result into QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage?

Yes. Export as CSV instead of .xlsx and map the columns in your accounting software's import tool — vendor, date, invoice number, description, amount, and tax are all separate columns already. For recurring imports, the API returns JSON you can transform directly into the format your accounting system expects.

What about multi-page invoices?
