Data We Collect

Document Images

When you scan or upload a document, the image is sent to our AI processing service for extraction. We do not store your images on any server. Images are processed in real-time and discarded immediately after extraction.

Scan History (iOS App)

Extracted spreadsheet data and small thumbnails are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

Web App Usage

When using our web app at scantoexcel.ai, we track the number of free scans used via your browser's local storage. No personal data is collected or sent to our servers.

Purchase Information

Subscription and purchase data is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store or by our payment processor for web purchases. We do not collect or store any payment information directly.

No Analytics

We do not collect analytics, usage data, crash reports, or any personally identifiable information.

Data Sharing

Document images are sent to our AI processing service for text extraction. They are processed in real-time and not retained. No other third parties receive your data.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with anyone.

Data Storage

All app data (scan history, settings, usage counts) is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage or browser local storage. You can delete all scan history from within the app at any time.

Your Rights

You can delete your local data at any time by deleting scan history, clearing browser data, or uninstalling the app. Since we don't collect personal data on servers, there is no account to delete.
